A modern wood stove like the HARK 57 ECOplus EX is more than just a source of heat. On cold winter days it is the heart of your home, a place where you can find peace and lose track of time. The crackling fire fills the room with cosy warmth, and its gentle play of flames creates an incomparable atmosphere that invites you to relax. As you enjoy the fire, you can rely on HARK's proven ECOplus combustion technology. With a ceramic fine-dust filter, sophisticated air routing and a firebox with a cast trough and special ceramic, ECOplus delivers highly efficient, environmentally friendly combustion. Fine-dust emissions are reduced to a level well below the legal limit. The HARK 57 ECOplus EX can be operated with an external combustion-air supply. For a clean, safe burn, additional oxygen is fed to the fire from outside. Above the firebox there is a warming compartment where you can use the heat of the fire to warm up or keep hot drinks such as coffee, tea or cocoa. The ceramic stove tiles of the HARK 57 ECOplus EX are hand-made in HARK's own workshop and are available in many colours. A soapstone cladding with especially good heat-storage and radiation properties is also available.
HARK EcoPlus Technology
HARK ECOplus, developed together with the Fraunhofer Institutes, is HARK's clean-burn system: an open-pore ceramic fine-dust filter, a shaped cast trough and a special-ceramic firebox lining with optimised air routing. It cuts fine-dust emissions to well below the German BImSchV legal limits and burns up to around 40% less wood than HARK stoves without ECOplus, while delivering high efficiency and strong radiant heat. German chimney sweeps regularly recommend it.
